Op welke manieren kun je in 2021 je geld veilig en met een goed rendement investeren? Ondanks de lage spaarrentes zijn er genoeg mogelijkheden!

Tegenwoordig zijn de rentes op spaarrekeningen extreem laag en moet je bij sommige banken zelfs betalen voor het bewaren van je geld.

Waar je vroeger nog rentes van 4-5% had op je spaarrekening is het tegenwoordig geslonken tot 0,02%. Als je rendement wilt maken met je (spaar) geld dan zijn er gelukkig andere mogelijkheden binnen handbereik. Door de digitalisering van de afgelopen jaren is het anno 2021 redelijk eenvoudig om je geld te investeren in projecten, grondstoffen of andere valuta. In dit artikel behandelen we een aantal mogelijkheden om jouw geld te investeren met de daarbij horende veiligheidsrisico’s.

Investeer veilig en bewust
Raad altijd financieel advies in voordat je investeert. Spreid het risico door in meerdere projecten, valuta of beleggingen te investeren. Zorg ervoor dat je op een veilige manier handelt door altijd gebruik te maken van twee factor authenticatie, een VPN en let op pishing mails! We richten ons in dit artikel vooral op Nederlandse aanbieders van diverse investeringsmogelijkheden. Deze Nederlandse aanbieders zijn ofwel getoetst door de AFM of zijn sinds decennia toonaangevend. Het aanbod van aanbieders is uiteraard groter buiten Nederland, maar met bijbehorende uitdagingen en risico’s. Doe je eigen onderzoek op basis van je risicobereidheid en het te investeren bedrag wat voor jou de beste keuze is.

Deposito
We beginnen met een relatief veilige investering, namelijk die van de spaardeposito’s. Bij de meeste banken kun je voor een vast rentetarief voor 1 of 5 jaar je geld vastzetten. Gedurende deze looptijd kun je niet boetevrij bij je geld. De rentes varieren van 0,02 tot 2%. Er geldt een minimale inleg en je betaalt een boete als je tussentijds je geld wilt opnemen. Niet het hoogste rendement, maar wel snel geregeld en je geld is goed beschermd bij de diverse Nederlandse banken.

De opkomst van cryptocurrency zal je de afgelopen jaren niet ontgaan zijn. Met de komst van Bitcoin in 2009 en de opmars de jaren daarna zijn er vele cryptomunten op de markt gebracht. Met fluctuerende prijzen is het een van de meer riskante investeringen in 2021. Waar de Bitcoin een stabiele groei heeft laten zien de afgelopen jaren blijft ook deze munt niet zonder enorme schommelingen in de koers, soms van wel meer dan 20%.

Als je veilig cryptocurrency wilt aanschaffen zijn er een aantal websites in Nederland waar je deze veilig kunt aanschaffen. Bijvoorbeeld bij Bitvavo en Bitcoinmeester kun je eenvoudig crypto kopen. Ben je op zoek naar een speciale munt, check dan eerst waar deze verhandelt worden. Via internationaal georiënteerde brokers kun je meer onbekende cryptomunten aanschaffen. Door de enorme fluctuaties is het een risicovolle belegging. Als je een stabiel rendement wilt op je investering kun je crypto beter laten voor wat het is. Als je wat meer durft te speculeren en minder gevoelig bent voor koersschommelingen dan kun je met crypto interessante rendementen behalen.

Zorg ervoor dat je jouw cryptomunten goed opslaat en veilig bewaard in een wallet. 


Goud & Zilver

Sinds de financiële crisis van 2008 hebben goud en zilver aan populariteit gewonnen. Waar het voor deze crisis voor velen geen interessante belegging was gezien de enorme winsten op de beurs hebben deze edelmetalen zich het afgelopen decennium bewezen als stabiele investeringen. Daarnaast heeft beleggen in edelmetaal als voordeel dat zodra er een beurscrash is de waarde van edelmetalen meestal stijgen. Investeerders vluchten dan vanaf de beurs naar het goud en zilver. Dit heeft ook plaatsgevonden na de financiële crisis in 2008 en de recente coronacrisis. Een nadeel van investeren in edelmetaal is dat het geen rente of dividend oplevert en vaak minder hard stijgt of zelfs daalt zodra de beurzen weer flink gaan stijgen.

Beleggen in goud blijft een aantrekkelijk alternatief in moeilijke en onzekere tijden. Aangezien goud als belegging geen direct rendement uitbetaald is de stand van de rente heel belangrijk voor de waarde van goud. Als je een rendement maakt op je spaarrekening of op de beurs van 8% dan is het beleggen in goud (waarop je geen rente krijgt) een lastiger verhaal. Beleggen in goud is dan duur.

In Nederland zijn er diverse aanbieders van fysiek goud en zilver en van online aanbieders waar je (een stukje) goud koopt dat reeds in een kluis ligt.

Vastgoed
Bij beleggen in vastgoed wordt vaak aan de aanschaf van een woning of bedrijfspand gedacht als investering voor de toekomst. Voor velen is dit echter niet haalbaar gezien de enorme prijzen voor vastgoed op dit moment. Een alternatief is beleggen in vastgoed via een investeringsfonds, bijvoorbeeld Synvest. Via een investeringsfonds kun je met een maandelijkse investering al vanaf €100,- investeren in Nederlands of Duits vastgoed. Met een verwacht rendement van 8,1% per jaar over een periode van 7 jaar een interessante investering. Door de stijgende vraag naar vastgoed in Nederland (en West-Europa) is het een interessante optie om te overwegen als je wilt investeren. 

Beleggen
Sinds de komst van de Amsterdamse Vereniging voor de Effectenhandel in 1851 en de Dow Jones in Amerika in 1896 wordt er gehandeld in aandelen, opties, turbo’s en nog veel meer.
Met een gemiddeld rendement van 10,4% over de afgelopen decennia is het een interessante investering. Daarnaast ontvang je op een aantal aandelen of ETF’s ook nog eens dividend. In Nederland zijn er diverse brokers waar je aandelen kunt kopen, zoals Binck Bank, De Giro of Lynx. Uiteraard zijn de koersen aan schommelingen onderhevig en kan je investering (tijdelijk) minder waard worden. Beleggen op de beurs heeft zich echter wel bewezen als een betrouwbare investering op de lange termijn, ondanks diverse crises.

Leningen of Crowdfunding

Wat minder bekend maar daarom niet minder interessant is het investeren in leningen. Bijvoorbeeld via Lender & Spender in Nederland kun je jouw investering laten spreiden over een aantal leningen die Lender & Spender heeft uitstaan richting Nederlandse geldnemers met een hoge kredietwaardigheid. Over deze investering krijg je een rendement van ongeveer 4%. Je kunt elk moment je investering weer opnemen.

Via Crowdfunding kun je op een vergelijkbare manier geld investeren. Het verschil met investeren in een lening is dat je zeker weet dat je rendement zult maken op de lening omdat deze moet worden terugbetaald en vaak via een garantiefonds wordt gedekt. Bij een crowdfunding campagne is dit meer afhankelijk van het type campagne dat je ondersteunt.

Ongeacht de keuze die je maakt, zorg ervoor dat je alleen investeert met geld dat je kunt missen en waarvan je weet dat het risico bestaat dat je jouw inleg volledig kwijtraakt. Resultaten behaald in het verleden bieden helaas geen garantie voor de toekomst.
