Zo bereid je je toets het beste voor

Heb jij binnenkort een toets of examen waar je best een beetje zenuwachtig voor bent omdat dat vak je wat minder goed ligt? Of is dit al de 3e herkansing voor een bepaalde toets? Met deze tips zorg je ervoor dat je goed voorbereid bent. Van goed slapen, tot samenvattingen maken en bijles. Alles om ervoor te zorgen dat jij met een gerust hart in en uit je examen stapt.

Denk aan je gezondheid
Om goed geconcentreerd aan de slag te kunnen gaan, is het belangrijk dat je lekker in je vel zit. Zorg dat je goed uitgerust bent en dat je wat gegeten hebt. Luister vooral naar je lichaam als het gaat om eten en slapen, de één functioneert namelijk prima op 6 uur slaap per nacht, waar de ander minstens 8 uur nodig heeft. Wat eten betreft, verwen jezelf vooral af en toe met wat lekkers. Op een lege maag kun je immers niet functioneren, maar te veel eten is ook niet goed. Als je te veel eet, en dan vooral bij ongezonde snacks, kun je je snel wazig of suf gaan voelen waardoor productiviteit ver te zoeken is.

Je herkent het vast wel dat je het ene moment volop kunt blokken, terwijl het andere moment iedere prikkel je afleidt van het leren. Wat belangrijk is om te onthouden, is om in deze situaties niet in de stress te schieten en jezelf niet te veel onder druk te zetten. Er komt wel weer een moment dat je wat productiever bent.

Vraag hulp wanneer nodig
Wanneer je van tevoren al weet dat dit een lastig vak voor je is, begin dan vooral op tijd met de voorbereiding. Denk je er zelf niet uit te komen, vraag dan hulp. Deze hulp kun je in verschillende hoeken zoeken. In eerste instantie denk je misschien alleen aan familie en vrienden, maar die hebben ook niet altijd tijd en kennis van dat specifieke vak. Denk in dit geval bijvoorbeeld ook eens aan bijles of huiswerkbegeleiding. Instanties die dit aanbieden zijn gespecialiseerd in het ondersteunen van leerlingen die moeite hebben met een bepaald vak. Ook zijn er in iedere woonplaats instanties te vinden waar bijles of huiswerkbegeleiding wordt aangeboden. Google maar eens op: Bijles Amsterdam, of Huiswerkbegeleiding Amsterdam, en je vindt er genoeg. Kortom, schroom zeker niet om om hulp te vragen.

Het leren zelf
En dan natuurlijk nog het echte werk, het leren zelf. Ook daar zijn verschillende tips voor om het jezelf makkelijker te maken. Hieronder de belangrijkste op een rijtje:

*Zoals hiervoor al gezegd is het belangrijk om op tijd te beginnen, begin bijvoorbeeld 2 weken van te voren met een uur per dag en bouw dit naar wens op 
*Maak samenvattingen, door het op te schrijven in je eigen woorden kun je het makkelijker onthouden
*Beloon jezelf met een pauze en ga dan ook echt iets anders doen
*Maak een planning en hou je hieraan, hoe verleidelijk het ook is om deze net iets te veranderen
*Leg de stof hardop uit, aan jezelf of aan iemand anders

Met bovenstaande tips moet het je toch lukken om die voldoende binnen te halen?
